TLM conferences

Following the death of Peter Johns (the inventor of TLM), those researchers who were not directly involved with electromagnetic modelling found themselves isolated, and for several years organised small informal conferences where various groups were able to exchange ideas about all aspects of TLM and its applications.

The first one “TLM the wider applications” was held at UEA, Norwich on 27 June 1996.

There was also a gathering at Hull University, of which the papers of William O’Connor and Donard de Cogan are available.

On the encouragement of Michael Malachowski of the Military Technical University in Warsaw a major gathering was held at Hotel Tina (Warsaw) and via the programme all papers that were presented are available.

There was a further meeting at the Pedagogical University of Czestochowa, but a proceedings was never compiled.
